How many calories we need per day?

Category: Uncategorizedaublogger @ 3:41 pm

The question of how many calories we need each day crops up now and then, but we need to realize that we are all different physiologically and physically, therefore our caloric requirements will differ. Therefore, there is no sure figure to aim for.

But that said, if we take in too many calories over what our body deems as “optimal,” than those calories end up as fat. And there are “average” requirements too. Some say that 2000 calories for someone with a height of 1.7 meters and 65 kilos is about average - but there is no way of knowing if this is really accurate.

It helps to weigh yourself frequently; that way you can gauge if you are gaining weight or not. You should definitely monitor your diet everyday and not eat a lot of fatty foods, but that is just plain common sense. It won’t be automatic, but getting a feel for how much food and what food your body needs every day is highly useful. Get more info on the amount of calories needed per day and start living healthier.
